Today during science we checked our homework that was due, and went over that. We reviewed the chapter on inner planets (pg. 94-101) as well as did some guided notes to go along with it. After we had our short quiz on the inner planets. (Grades will all be put in after school). We also started learning about the Outer planets.
HW for tonight:
- finish the 4 notecards on the outer planets. Here is what needs to go on each card:
Front of Notecard:
- Name of planet
- A Drawing of the planet (colored)
- placement from sun
Back of notecard:
- Diameter
- Average distance from sun (au)
- Period of rotation (earth days)
- Period of revolution (Earth days)
- Number of moons
- Key facts on the planet (interesting facts, what is its atmosphere like, ect…)
Also here is the list of what we should have in our notebook so far: (Make sure you are keeping up to date with this, as I won't be so lenient this time around.)
